I am a Theoretical Physicist, currently pursuing a PhD at the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics in University of Houston.
Emergent collective behaviour in many-body systems is at the heart of my research. In my past work, I showed how quantum correlations can be generated and protected in open quantum systems initialized out of equilibrium. We conjecture that collective behaviour, such as synchronisation, provides a mechanism for this protection and a signature of underlying quantum correlations at mesoscopic and macroscopic scales. I also showed how integrability emerges in a time-dependent multistate Landau–Zener model and in the two-dimensional helical SYK model. More recently, my goal has been to determine how recurrences (periodic orbits), integrability, chaos, and driving shape thermalization and quantum memory, and to clarify the scope of the eigenstate thermalization hypothesis (ETH). Ultimately, I am interested in understanding the structure of spacetime and gravity at quantum scales, using all the tools I have acquired over the years working on different problems.

Beyond Physics
Music runs through my genes and I can never see my life without it. I love to sing and play the guitar. I am also an amateur guitar mechanic/collector and vinyl collector, but one day hope to have a very unique collection.
Fun Fact: Music makes the deepest (most fundamental) neural pathways in your brain. Ever thought why you remember so many songs?
I worked on a project in which we made an analogy to mechanical watches to explain our work, and since then I have become a watch collector. It's an expensive hobby, but if you're smart about it, you can find some fine timepieces with incredible craftsmanship.
Sports & Activities
I am a sports enthusiast and I think that at any given point in time, in life, one must always be associated with at least one sport. The blend of psychology and the physicality is unparalleled and it helps one grow stronger both mentally and physically.
I love playing and watching everything from Cricket, Football,...,Chess and even E-Sports. I'm a hardcore Cricket fan though and at one point was on the path of pursuing it professionally.

I am a co-host of a monthly podcast called The Knowmads Podcast along with my fiancée Prachi. We invite guests from various fields including but not limited to STEM, philosophy, psychology, cultural arts, music etc.
